Overall review Nespresso C121-US-RE-NE1 Citiz Espresso Maker with Aeroccino Milk Frother, Red
Do I really need a coffee at home? Well depends on you are you going to Starbucks, Seattle best, Caribou Coffee and the list goes on. Well you’re here now because you already have the idea of buying one and saving money because you spends butt loads of money monthly on over price coffee. So why this one? It’s easy to use there is only 3 buttons, the milk steamer(frothier) is easy just add milk and making the milk look fancy, when your pods bin get too full just empty it clean the container and nothing to it.
When is the best time to buy one?
The version I have I got this on sale on the off season for $179 and just found out online for the red one it’s $488.60 ( have this! that price is ridiculous!) but the black is $299. My suggestion wait for the off season, go to Sur La Table or William Sonoma there is a reason why there is a off season, newer models come out or no one wants to buy one due to who wants to drink coffee in 108F+(42+) or lower. When are best times of sales? during May to July is there worst months of the year for them, thats when you will see promotions.
Here is another model, not sure what the special feature is considering it everything is exactly the same, but company its sold by. Unless when you start using it and it makes a earthquakes ” HONEY! I THINK I FOUND THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THIS COFFEE MACHINE TO THE OTHER ONE! “I digress… Nespresso C121-US-RE-NE1 Citiz Espresso Maker with Aeroccino Milk Frother, Red
What about saving money with buying Nespresso?
Here is our example and what we were doing and this is just my girlfriend… My girlfriend would buy a Cafe Latte daily (weekdays and sometimes weekends) that was $2.45 a day that costed us 12.25 a week and $49 a month also $588 dollars a year and that not including me… Just by buying the pods she spends $3.50 a week and $17.50 a month and $210 a year that first year has brought the Nespresso and put $199 dollars in our bank for the following year that will be $378 in our bank.
How to clean
Very simple just take out the container it’s 2 pieces where it holds the empty pods in the bin(trash) then rinse both pieces, wipe with a towel, place back in Nespresso. If you used the frothier( only my girlfriend uses…) pull off rinse wash with a soft sponge and soap, rinse then dry with a towel. Drip tray pull off, wash with sponge and soap then rinse afterwards dry with a towel.
How to use Nespresso C121-US-RE-NE1
Pull up the lifter, add the pod which will just drop in, sometimes it might get jammed because your container has too many old pods in the bin, just open it and drop the rest of the containers. Turn on with 2 fingers of both buttons push the one you desire, you missed pushed just push again and it will stop or just turn off the machine push both buttoms
- Pods cost 70 cents a piece ( but still cheaper than going to a coffee shop!)
- Sometimes pods get stuck, but due to human error of not emptying pod drop box.
- You have to order the pods online or go to a store( which don’t always have the one you want due to coffee junkies…limited stores sell them)
It’s easy to use in all forms and cleaning takes 20 seconds, since we are on the go to leave for work. Great to have at home when you have friends over playing cards or games or just in general. Yes it’s expensive but wait for the sales and off season and you will have the really nice model. If you have no choice and your wife, girlfriend , husband and etc want that now for birthday or christmas sorry you have no choice for the sales. Then I would suggest getting it at amazon. I highly recommend this Nespresso you will save the money in the long run exactly what you intended to buy this for saving money. Huge plus side the coffee tastes great and there is many flavors to choose from even decaf pods, they made picking your favorite easy with giving samples when you buy your machine.
